I was rather surprised to see the headline β€œRICS to crack down on incompetent QSs” (8 April, page 14).

The Carsberg report is nothing to do with β€œincompetent QSs”, nor has anyone ever suggested this.

I trust you agree on reflection this was rather inaccurate reporting. The headline is so far away from the truth, especially as the Carsberg report was not QS-specific.

We in construction have a high regard for ΠΤ°Ι΅ηΜ¨, which is a reflection of its quality and standards. To slur our QSs without any justification or reason does no credit to anybody.

I trust this is an unfortunate one-off and your high standards will prevail in future.
