Nick Henchie (26 August) states: βIt is possible that more use will be made of jointly appointed experts, which could not only save time and costs but will probably lead to earlier settlement of cases.β This is most interesting.
In response to Alan Danieliβs difficulties in getting clients to pay up, reported in ΠΤ°Ι΅ηΜ¨ earlier this year, Tony Bingham (13 May) proposed the concept of an βarbitral investigatorβ. Well, for βexpertβ in Nickβs article, read βlegal expertβ and we are nearly there.
Mr Danieli, could you have started a crusade?
It is clear from many articles that the current system is fundamentally flawed and the word βjusticeβ is a misnomer.
