Laing O鈥橰ourke is to open a new office in Manchester next month as part of what it calls its 鈥渃ommitment to the north and north west鈥�.

The firm will transfer from its Birley Fields site to the new office in City Gate, which will officially open on 2 October.

Laing O鈥橰ourke鈥檚 northern director Tom Higgins said around 100 staff would relocate to the new site, which would also serve as a corporate hub for the multiple local project teams, including the team working on the Manchester Airport Transformation scheme.

鈥淲e have a strong order book, with an outstanding pipeline of future projects.

鈥淥ur new office provides us with a strong base to support hundreds of people in the field every day, delivering certainty for our clients,鈥� he added.
