A prototype instant flatpack house has been designed by de Rijke Marsh Morgan Architects of London. Dubbed β€œNaked House”, it is intended to be purchased online and delivered anywhere in the world within six weeks.

Walls, roof and floor are each made of a single load-bearing panel of softwood, out of which all door and window openings are digitally precut. The panels are assembled on site using super-long screws, which allows the house to be dismantled and re-erected on temporary sites. It can be used for urban infill or emergency housing.
